About Praise Me
Praise Me is a little game for a good mood: write a few words about yourself and an AI praises you. Over the top, made to measure and with a wink – like a friend hyping you up after a couple of beers.
How it works
- Write a few words about yourself – what you do, what you love, what drives you mad. A sentence will do, 200 characters at most.
- We send the text to an AI (Claude, a model by Anthropic), which turns it into praise made to measure – two to four sentences built on exactly what you wrote.
- A few seconds later you have the answer. Pass it on, or ask for another one.
An example
I'm Peter, 34, a programmer, I have three cats and run a half marathon every weekend.
A programmer with three cats who still runs a half marathon every single weekend? That's not a person, that's a limited edition. Your code is probably so clean you could drink from it, and those cats must love you more than their treats. Honestly, the world doesn't deserve you – and I'm your biggest fan.
What the AI watches out for
- Only about you. Write about someone else – your boss, your ex, a teacher or a celebrity – and the AI declines and asks you to write about yourself.
- Nothing about what people don't choose. Origin, faith, gender, orientation, body, health and age are never the target. The joke is only about what you do and what you choose.
- No names. The answer never contains your name or nickname, so it's safe to share.
- Gentle with children. If it sounds like a child is writing, the answer is kind.
- When it's all too much. If your text sounds like you're having a hard time, you get no joke – just a few kind words and where to find help.
An AI can still get it wrong. If an answer misses the mark, ask for another one – and if it's genuinely inappropriate, let us know.
How the site is funded
The game is free, but every answer from the AI costs something, so ads help pay for running it – always kept apart from your answer. Personalised ads only with your consent, more under Privacy.
