Privacy

Praise Me and Roast Me work without an account or sign-up. We don't want to know more about you than we must – and we don't keep what you write.

For pochvalse.cz and urazse.cz, in Czech and in English · version 1 · in force from 22 October 2026. The Czech version is the binding one.

Who processes the data

What we process and why

The text you write

We send it to an AI – Claude, a model by Anthropic PBC (USA) – only so that it can write the answer. We don't keep the text or the answer anywhere, and neither gets into the server's logs. Under its commercial terms Anthropic doesn't use API data to train its models and deletes it from its systems within 30 days; it keeps it longer only when its checks flag it as breaking its usage policy, or when the law requires it.

So don't write anything you wouldn't trust a company with: your address, phone number, health details or anything about other people.

Legal basis: performance of a contract – there's no answer without the text.

The cookie that keeps bots off

When you open the page we set one necessary cookie, ps, holding a random number for 30 days. With it we count how many answers the browser asked for in an hour, so that bots can't flood the site; it says nothing about you. Before sending, the browser also solves a short sum – just maths, no data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site.

Server logs

With every request the server sees the IP address and browser details and writes them to its access log. We use them only to run and protect the site (against attacks and overload). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running it safely.

Daily totals

For each day we count how many answers the site gave, of which kind, in which language and what they cost – without the texts and without IP addresses.

Ads and analytics

Google AdSense ads (when on) are shown to everybody. Personalised ads and advertising cookies only with your consent in Google's consent message; without it Google shows non-personalised or limited ads without cookies. Legal basis: consent, for non-personalised ads our legitimate interest in funding the site.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings (other vendors' ads at youronlinechoices.com). How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Google Analytics (when on) measures visits only with your consent; without it nothing of it is stored in your browser.

You can change your consent any time in the footer ("Cookie settings"); your browser remembers your choice.

Who we share data with

We never sell data. Only these processors work with it, each within its service:

Transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected and erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to withdraw your consent (in the footer). As we don't keep the texts and don't know who you are, we usually won't find any of your data at all. Ask anything at [doplnit: kontaktní e-mail]; we answer within a month.
